This bike belongs to one of my colleagues, Graham. His collection is getting pretty impressive! The bike is a mid to late 1980’s SOMEC pista frame and fork built up with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record / Super Record Pista group set. SOMEC is an Italian marque, started in 1973. They are mostly known for their fully pantographed component groups. Their frame construction is also top shelf. the pixelized decal font on this bike is one of my all time favorites. SOMEC stand for: SOcieta’ MECcanica “society of mechanics”. Enjoy the photos!

Fork looks alright to my eyes… just very slight rake, proper for a track iron. Nice machine.
