This is another pretty nice frame set we got not too long ago, offered for sale here today. It is a San Remo model, made by Falcon, in Great Britain in the early to mid 70’s I estimate. This was their top of the line racing frame. The original decals are all gone except for the Reynolds tubing decal and the Ernie Clement chain stay decal. It retains the head badge, and original paint. It has Campagnolo drop outs and fork tips. The Serial number is: 11121, stamped on the BB shell. There is also the number 24 stamped on the inside of the non-drive side drop out, which I assume is the size. The frame has rear chromed “socks” on the triangle and chromed head lugs and full chrome fork. The fork has a very nice fully sloping Cinelli style crown and oval fork blades. The frame also has fender eyelets. It is drilled for recessed brakes (original). Nice, fully wrapping seat stay treatment on the seat cluster as well. Pencil type (thin) seat stays as well,  somewhat unusual for a larger frame. There are some spots of corrosion here and there, some worse than others, but nothing that compromises structural integrity in my opinion. The measurements are as follows:

  • 59CM seat tube CTC
  • 57CM top tube CTC
  • 126mm rear spacing
  • 33″ stand over height
  • 27.2 seat post size.
  • British threaded BB shell and steerer
